Comm-IT is a project of South Dublin County Volunteer Centre which has been supporting volunteering in the community since 1998.
Since 2005, South Dublin Volunteer Centre has been instrumental in the design and development the national database of volunteers (I-VOL), which supports the recruitment and follow up of organisations and volunteers in Volunteer Ireland and 26 Volunteer Centres through-out Ireland.
We provide Super-administration support and continue to develop I-VOL with regular enhancement releases. We also support IT Champions from each region with escalated queries and on-going training.
Over the past few years, we have experienced increasing demands from other organisations for our IT services. This is due in no small part to our success in the development and support of I-Vol and our experience and knowledge of the not-for-profit sector.
In response to this demand, Comm-IT was established in 2014. Since then, we have built and continually support several Salesforce implementations for other not for profit organisations.
Part of our success is that we exist within the not for profit world and so have an understanding of the issues but also the “language” of the sector.
We believe that, through delivery of quality IT systems and with the backing of dependable IT support, organisations can concentrate on delivering a valued service to their customers.
Our range of services include IT advice and training, Salesforce design and development, data migration, application support and Super-administrator services.
